Hans Rohrer
Chairman of the Board
Sr. Vice President Business Development, Diodes
Hans Rohrer has more then 30 years successful track record within the semiconductor industry.
Prior to his current position of Senior VP for Business Development with Diodes Incorporated, a leading global manufacturer of discrete and analog products, Hans was the CEO of Zetex PLC a worldwide operating semiconductor company headquartered in the UK.
Before that Hans was President of TMSC Europe.
Latterly, he was instrumental in some far reaching industry co-operations between TSMC, Philips and STM.
Before TSMC, Hans enjoyed a seventeen tenure at National Semiconductor where he held several management positions.
He started his career in the semiconductor industry at Texas Instruments in 1977.
Hans has an electronic engineering back ground and received business management education at the Stanford University Palo Alto, California and INSEAD, Paris,France. Having served on the boards of several international operating companies, Hans has considerable board expertise in both privately held as well as listed companies. |

Elderd Land
Partner, Gimv
Elderd Land is Executive Investment Manager within Gimv. Elderd brings to Gimv deal making and transaction as well as commercial skills. Currently, he is responsible for business development of Gimv in the Netherlands. He holds board positions in Psytechnics, Human Inference, Liquavista, Mentum and 3mensio.
Prior to joining Gimv in 2000, Elderd worked at ABN AMRO Corporate Finance in charge of the telecom and internet sector teams in Amsterdam. Prior to that, he worked for KPN Telecom in International Business Development and for a construction company. Elderd holds a Master in Business Administration (including a year of research at FGV/EAESP in Sao Paulo). |

Alan Duncan
Partner, DFJEsprit
Alan Duncan has an electronic engineering background and gained his industrial experience in computer systems with Ferranti plc.
Alan has been in the venture capital industry for more than 20 years, initially through establishing a corporate venturing fund for Ferranti and then with Foreign & Colonial and Newmarket Ventures. He joined Prelude Ventures (now DFJEsprit) in 1997 and has been responsible for a portfolio of electronics, semiconductor and computer related investments including, Alphamosaic, Phyworks, DisplayLink, SiConnect, Lime Microsystems and XMOS. |

Dr. Claus Schmidt
Managing Director, Robert Bosch Venture Capital
Claus Schmidt, Managing Director at RBVC, is located in the Stuttgart office and responsible for the technical strategies and decisions at RBVC. Apart from serving as a partner in RBVC he maintains the contacts to the Bosch management organization. After 24 years in different operational jobs with IBM, DEC and including 16 years with Bosch he joined RBVC as one of the founding managing directors at the end of 2007.
Claus gained insight into various markets, such as disk drives, display technology, automotive electronics and semiconductors and into different management challenges starting from research, development, quality and reliability engineering to purchasing, P&L responsibility and general management. He got his Ph.D. from the University of Stuttgart after staying at the Max-Planck Institute for Metal Physics in Stuttgart. |
