GreenPeak's Quality Management System & ISO 9001:2008 Certification

The most efficient way of introducing a formal approach to quality is by implementing and certifying for a globally recognized quality label. GreenPeak has chosen to introduce its QMS (Quality Management System) according to the ISO 9001:2008 standard for quality.
The ISO 9001 standard provides a framework and systematic approach to managing business processes to produce a product that is conforming to customer expectations. In other words, it will streamline the internal processes to demonstrate that the company can do what it says it can do.
It is GreenPeak’s objective to provide a competitive advantage to its customers worldwide. GreenPeak's Quality Management System is the framework for establishing and measuring quality objectives.

The QMS confirms GreenPeak's maturity and commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. It helps to deliver products conform to specifications and customer expectations. The QMS helps GreenPeak to become more efficient, it allows better control over working processes, it introduces risk management as a key to evaluate performance and it helps GreenPeak apply structured and efficient methods of continuous quality improvement.

Continuous improvement cycles

The continuous improvement system is based on the principles of:
Plan > Do > Check > Act

The measurement of quality objectives, defined for every process, is implemented to be able to evaluate and improve the QMS.
The effective management decisions are based on the analysis of data and information collected from the various processes that measure and monitor customer satisfaction, complaint handling, technical support, subcontractors and suppliers, internal audits, people management, etc. . These processes are monitored, measured, and analyzed by the responsible process owner. This information provides efficient way measure the process performance and the effectiveness of our quality system and is presented to the management team for action for continual improvement and where necessary, corrective and preventive actions during the management review meetings.

Eventually, continual improvement of the organization’s overall performance becomes a permanent objective of the organization.

GreenPeak Process Model and Process Descriptions

The total process model was built around 35 processes – core processes and supporting processes – all interconnected, thoroughly documented and linked to underlying documents, guidelines, checklists, working instructions and records.
The process model outlines the core processes and supporting processes and their respective process owners and process managers. The process descriptions collect and outline the process action, input-output, measurement and control, steering and supporting activities. It lists the systems and tools used and the team member’s functions, roles and responsibilities.

Obtaining the ISO 9001:2008 certificate is the first milestone in GreenPeak's commitment to customer satisfaction.
The external certification audit was conducted by LRQA - Lloyds Register Quality Assurance. The official ISO 9001:2008 certification was obtained on 14 July 2009.
